Untitled Megan Park Project

Apple Studios is gearing up for an untitled comedy-drama from writer-director Megan Park, the filmmaker behind My Old Ass. Zoë Kravitz leads the cast as a woman whose life is upended when her boyfriend's hidden family arrives at her door, forcing her into an unexpected role caring for his kids despite the awkward circumstances. Park wrote the spec script and will direct and executive produce, with the project being produced by Apple Studios and LuckyChap Entertainment—Margot Robbie's company behind Barbie and Saltburn—in association with FilmNation. Tom Ackerley and Bronte Payne are overseeing for LuckyChap. The project sparked a competitive bidding war in early 2026, with Apple beating out Warner Bros. , Sony, Universal, Amazon, and Netflix. Production is targeting a summer or fall 2026 start, with the film already independently greenlit and financed by FilmNation.
