Untitled Charlie Hall/Alec Berg Comedy Series

Netflix is developing an untitled comedy series from writer-star Charlie Hall and executive producer Alec Berg. The project centers on a drug ring operating out of a college fraternity, loosely inspired by allegations connected to Penn State University. Hall, known for his work on Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed and Monster, will write and star in the series, with Berg serving as executive producer and supervising writer. Berg's producing partner Amy Solomon will also executive produce through Berg's production banner. The project marks the first announced series under Berg's new overall deal with Netflix, signed earlier in 2026. Berg, whose credits include co-creating HBO's Barry and serving as showrunner on Silicon Valley, brings decades of comedy pedigree to the partnership. No production timeline, further casting, or release window has been announced.
