Project Summary
After his desperate attempts to reconnect with his estranged father land him in trouble, a rebellious Filipino teen is sent from Manila to live with an eccentric California host family. Determined to get kicked out and find the father who abandoned him, he teams up with the family's equally rebellious daughter — but when his father finally resurfaces and betrays him all over again, Arnel must decide whether family is defined by blood or by the people who actually show up.
