Under Salt Marsh (Season 2)
Project Summary
Under Salt Marsh is heading into production for a second season, with Sky renewing the crime thriller following strong viewership numbers for its Welsh-set first season. Creator Claire Oakley returns to write and direct the new chapter, which shifts the action from Wales to Scotland. Rafe Spall reprises his role as Detective Eric Bull, this time investigating a murder in a remote Scottish mining village while confronting secrets from his own past. The series is produced by Little Door Productions in association with Sky Studios, with executive producers Elwen Rowlands for Little Door, Oakley, and Megan Spanjian for Sky. Zoranna Piggott serves as series producer, with additional writers In-Sook Chappell, Jonathan Harbottle, and Scott Graham joining Oakley. The six-episode second season is scheduled to begin filming in Scotland in 2027, with a planned release on Sky Atlantic and streaming service Now in the UK, Ireland, and Italy.
