Tony Robinson Rewrites History

Tony Robinson Rewrites History is a multiplatform history project from Australia-based Radar Studios and veteran broadcaster Tony Robinson. The project comprises two distinct components: a 12-episode YouTube series launching later in 2026, with episodes running 30 minutes each, and a separate six-part, hour-long television series being introduced to international buyers at MIPCOM in October 2026. Robinson will revisit defining historical events from ancient times through the modern era, uncovering the people, politics, rivalries, and moments of chance that shaped outcomes, while exploring how history might have unfolded differently at key turning points. The project extends Robinson's 15-year relationship with WTFN Group and marks the debut slate for Radar Studios' new originals strategy. Radar Studios was formed in September 2026 by merging WTFN's digital arm with its Fred Media distribution business, creating an integrated content creation and distribution operation. Derek Dyson serves as Chief Commercial Officer. Production details and crew hiring timelines have not yet been announced.
