Throughout The Sky

An eighth-grade Chinese-Canadian boy transfers to a new school and becomes best friends with his classmate, who is also a Chinese-Canadian boy. The two boys find out that they have the same hometown. Although they share common interests, their different backgrounds lead them to influence each other in different ways, until one boy discovers a secret about the other's family that is unequivocally related to his past.
