Project Summary
When 11-year Mary is kidnapped by David, her Afgan-war veteran father and propelled into his anxiety-ridden world, they set out on the road in search of salvation from demons that have followed him back from the war. Their journey takes us through the searing California Mojave and arid deserts of Arizona where mystical things happen as Mary tries to heal her relationship with her father and reunite her fractured family.
