The Unheard is a five-episode limited series heading into pre-production for Netflix. Kate Winslet stars alongside Maxine Peake as the two sisters, with Jack Thorne writing the series and Mounia Akl directing. The production brings together Warp Films, Matriarch Productions, and Plan B as producing partners, with Winslet also executive producing alongside Thorne. Mark Herbert and Emily Feller executive produce for Warp Films, Hannah Walters and Stephen Graham for Matriarch Productions, and Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Nina Wolarsky for Plan B. Filming will kick off in 2027, with the series expected to arrive on Netflix following production.
