Project Summary
The Recital is a crime thriller indie feature film with an absurdist, darkly humorous twist set inside a suffocating shoe-box environment. A middle-aged hitman, desperate to save his daughter from the depression that claimed his wife, kidnaps his favorite writer to inspire her — only to kill the writer when she urges his daughter to quit, reigniting his daughter's dreams while he clings to a hopeful delusion. Filming in the NYC area October 31 through November 15, 2026.
