The Prostitute

Benny is a wannabe filmmaker, a man who lives mostly in his head, and only partly with his supportive girlfriend, Julie. Determined to transform himself from a loser to a guerrilla filmmaker, he follows a local prostitute, Magda, and learns that in fact, she's the homicidal maniac who has been murdering johns in Hollywood for the last three years. Having stumbled on the identity of a mass murderer whose existence has driven the police nuts, Benny goes a step further — and learns that Magda is a man, a cross-dressing, ineffectual homebody named Gomer — and Gomer decides to confide a few of his family secrets to Benny. A few too many.
