The Mannequin

The Mannequin is a serial killer thriller from director-writer Sean Byrne, who previously helmed The Devil's Candy and Dangerous Animals. Oscar winner Melissa Leo leads the cast alongside Lili Reinhart in what Byrne describes as a two-hander, with the film centering on characters Charley and Sadie as they become entangled in a violent manhunt. The project is being produced under Studiocanal's newly launched Sixth Dimension genre label, dedicated to high-concept horror and thriller filmmaking. William Woods and Maddy Falle of Page 12 Pictures Inc. are producing with Kristian Moliere of Triptych Pictures, while executive producers include Steven Schneider, Phil Hunt, Compton Ross, and Charlie Kemball. Filming is set to take place in Northern Ontario, with the production targeting a summer 2026 start. Elevation Pictures will distribute in Canada, while Studiocanal handles theatrical releases across the UK, France, Germany, Australia, and additional territories.
