Elevation Pictures

Elevation Pictures is a Toronto-based Canadian independent film distribution and production company founded in 2013 by Laurie May and co-led by Noah Segal. Since debuting at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, it has grown into Canada's leading independent distributor, releasing a curated slate of roughly 40 titles per year spanning prestige indies, art house, and commercial fare. The company holds distribution rights in Canada for select titles from A24, Neon, and Black Bear Pictures, and launched a production arm in 2016 that has co-produced films including The Nest, French Exit, Alice Darling, and BlackBerry. It is financially backed by Teddy Schwarzman's Black Bear Pictures.
