Project Summary
Warner Bros. Pictures is developing a new live-action Flintstones feature that shifts focus from Fred Flintstone to an adult Bamm-Bamm Rubble. Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson are producing through their Open Invite production banner. The project is in the earliest stages of development, with the producing team currently seeking a writer to shape the script. The character was previously aged up in the 1971 CBS Saturday morning series The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show, where he appeared as a teenager attending Bedrock High School. This would be Warner Bros.' first live-action Flintstones theatrical feature since 2000's The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas. No production timeline, director, or cast has been announced.
