Project Summary
Warner Bros. Pictures is in early development on a live-action Flintstones feature film that will center on an adult Bamm-Bamm Rubble, marking a fresh take on the beloved Stone Age franchise. Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson are producing through their Open Invite banner. The project is currently seeking a screenwriter, with no director or cast attached yet. The Flintstones property originated as a Hanna-Barbera animated series that ran on ABC from 1960 to 1966, and has been adapted for live-action twice before—in 1994 with John Goodman and Rick Moranis, and in 2000 with The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas. This new iteration represents a reunion between Gosling and Warner Bros. following their collaboration on the blockbuster Barbie.
