Supporting Role follows the journey of a mother and son whose lives are forever changed as Anne battles cancer. Micah is an ambitious young actor who has been on the grind for years, chasing the breakthrough role that he believes will change his life. Throughout the film, he navigates auditions, day jobs, rejection, and being there for the one who has always been there for him. Ultimately, Micah realizes that while he's spent years searching for that life changing role, he's already taken on the most important role of his life.
