Stars of Science is heading into its eighteenth season with Zinc Media Group leading a comprehensive creative reset of the Qatar Foundation format. The educational reality series, which has been a fixture across the Arab world for nearly two decades, follows inventors and entrepreneurs as they develop ideas with the potential to transform industries and lives. Executive producer Andrea Hamilton, whose credits include The Voice and Strictly Come Dancing, is spearheading the format refresh with updated storytelling, visual identity, and studio experience. Production will be handled by The Edge, Zinc's Middle East label and a Media City Qatar company, producing in both Arabic and English. Filming is scheduled to take place in Qatar later in 2026, with casting currently underway for inventors, scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs from across the Arab world and global Arab diaspora. The $6 million commission marks Zinc's first major entertainment series in the Middle East and represents a significant milestone for the company's international growth strategy. Zinc Distribution is handling international sales and overseeing marketing strategy across 22 Arab countries.
