Starman is a cosmic sci-fi thriller from Emmy-winning writer-director Josh Wakely, marking his live-action feature directorial debut. Fraser portrays Tom Adams, described as an architect of the future who positions himself at the forefront of humanity's next frontier with a groundbreaking Mars mission. When unforeseen complications leave him stranded millions of miles from home, his mission transforms into an urgent struggle driven not just by survival but by love. The project is produced by Grace: A Storytelling Company—Wakely's production banner—alongside Sight Unseen's Eddie Vaisman, who recently collaborated with Fraser on Searchlight's Rental Family. Rebecca Graham also produces for Grace. David S. Goyer, known for Batman Begins and Batman v Superman, serves as executive producer alongside financiers Tarek Sherif and Ryan Graves, with Julia Lebedev executive producing for Sight Unseen. Production is set to begin summer 2026, with international sales launching at the Marché du Film in Cannes through Anton.
