Project Summary
Shucked is the musical comedy that proves sometimes tearing down a few walls, rather than growing them, is the only way to preserve our way of life. In this new actor-musician production, the residents of Cob County pick up their instruments and come together to share their story as they celebrate an important local anniversary. With live music woven into the heart of the action, this fresh staging transforms Shucked into a joyful celebration of community, resilience, and the power of music to bring people together. The production rehearses in New York City before embarking on a national tour, with tech beginning on or about January 4, 2027, opening on or about January 12, 2027, and closing on or about June 6, 2027.
