Scam 2010

Scam 2010 has begun production as the third chapter in SonyLIV's popular financial crime anthology series. Director Hansal Mehta returns to helm the series, with Siddharth Bodke taking the lead role as businessman Subrata Roy. The series is produced by Birla Studios and Applause Entertainment for SonyLIV. Based on journalist Tamal Bandyopadhyay's book Sahara: The Untold Story, the show traces Roy's journey from building a massive financial empire through small savings schemes to the public scrutiny and legal battles that followed. The series explores one of India's most notorious financial scandals from the early 2010s, examining how belief built an empire and what happened when that belief ran out. Production is currently underway with an early 2027 premiere expected on SonyLIV.
