About

Birla Studios is a Mumbai-based film production house founded in February 2026 by Ananya Birla, entrepreneur and Aditya Birla Group director, dedicated to producing high-concept, prestige-driven commercial cinema that balances cultural relevance with broad audience appeal. The studio is genre-agnostic and operates a multi-language slate spanning Hindi, Gujarati, Malayalam, other regional Indian languages, and international English-language projects, with an emphasis on nurturing emerging filmmakers and fresh voices. It has also launched 'Reel Se Real Star,' India's first mobile-first acting talent discovery platform, in partnership with Vodafone Idea (Vi), designed to democratise access to India's entertainment industry via smartphone auditions. The studio has been in early-stage talks with acclaimed directors including Anees Bazmee, Shoojit Sircar, and Neeraj Pandey for upcoming projects.
