Project Summary
Paradox Inc. is a feature film adaptation of Forrest Brazeal's debut novel, currently in development at Universal Pictures. Daniel Roher, the Oscar-winning filmmaker behind Navalny and Tuner, will direct and co-write a treatment with Matthew Robinson, who is adapting the screenplay. The project is being produced by Lord Miller, the production shingle for Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, through their first-look deal with Universal. The story follows the rivalry between a scrappy startup and a dysfunctional Big Tech company competing to build the world's first consumer time machine. Lucy Kitada and Aditya Sood will produce for Lord Miller, with Brazeal executive producing. Brazeal's novel, a Silicon Valley satire drawing on his experience working at Google during the AI and crypto booms, releases from Penguin Random House in January 2027.
