Nozem

Nozem is a gangland action thriller entering pre-production in Amsterdam, with principal photography scheduled to begin in early September 2026. British director Scott Vickers, known for the horror feature Matriarch and BBC's River City, helms the project from a screenplay by Buddy Boerkoel, who also stars in the lead role. The cast includes Daniel Fathers (House of the Dragon), Francesca van Neuren (Coked), and Ibrahim Naji (Gedachten aan de regen). Set in Amsterdam's criminal underbelly, the film follows Robbie, whose parents were murdered by notorious gangster Franz Müller in the 1990s. Twenty-five years later, seeking revenge, Robbie infiltrates the gang Die Brüder from the bottom up to kill the man responsible, only to become seduced by the criminal world he set out to destroy. Producers include Jamie Gene, Eva Machek, Anna Vozdroganova, and Orhan Vehabovic, with Boerkoel, van Neuren, and Henk Hoek serving as executive producers. Production is set to take place on location in Amsterdam.
