Nice Eggs

Nice Eggs is an independent coming-of-age drama that has wrapped principal photography in New Jersey. The film marks the narrative feature directorial debut of Amanda Lipitz, known for her documentaries Step and Found. Written by Sandi Farkas, who collaborated with Lipitz on the scripted podcast Motherhacker, the story follows Cori Mulligan as she navigates growing up in a small town with a mother who cannot protect her while pursuing her dream of becoming a writer. Jane Krakowski stars as Ellen, Cori's charismatic but troubled mother whose unrealized ambitions have shaped both their lives, while Angourie Rice plays Cori. The production is backed by Key to the City Productions, with Henry Tisch and Amanda Lipitz producing alongside Diane Nabatoff, Tory Metzger, and Farkas. The film is currently in post-production.
