Modi Documentary (Untitled)

Emmy-nominated filmmakers Seth Kramer and Daniel A. Miller of Ironbound Films have wrapped principal photography on an untitled documentary about comedian Modi Rosenfeld. The project centers on two Radio City Music Hall performances from spring 2024 while tracing the 55-year-old performer's arc from his childhood in Israel and Long Island to his current status as a viral sensation and self-described last of the Catskills comedians. Mayim Bialik serves as executive producer and onscreen commentator for the independently financed film. The documentary examines Modi's unique position as a gay Orthodox Jew making Jewish subculture the focus of his comedy, and his concept of "Moshiach Energy" — his mission to unite audiences through empathy and laughter. The film is currently in post-production with a planned 2027 festival and distribution release.
