Project Summary
When Ted and Lily spend the holidays with Ted's family, their unexpected pregnancy sets his elite Chinese-American upbringing against her Rust Belt Catholic ideals — and forces them to decide whose rules they're going to live by: their parents' or their own. At its core, the script is about love, inherited values, and the terrifying reality of making the choice our parents wouldn't want us to.
