Miss You Forever, Zara Drake

Miss You Forever, Zara Drake is a feature film currently in pre-production, marking the feature directorial debut of actor and poet Lucas Jones, who also wrote the screenplay and will co-star alongside Hannah Dodd. The project is produced by Jones and Eli Banfield through Maryland Films, an independent UK production company, with Richard Holmes serving as executive producer. Dodd, known for her role as Francesca in Netflix's Bridgerton, takes her first lead film role as Zara Drake. The story is set between New York City and England, exploring generational trauma and the emptiness of success through the lens of a romance inspired by 1990s fashion iconography. The creative team includes cinematographer Brendan Harvey, composers Sindri Már Sigfússon and Kjartan Holm, original music by Ava Lily, and casting directors Des Hamilton and Lauren Bayly. Production is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, filming in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
