Project Summary
Lovebomb marks the debut feature of writer-director James Kautz, expanding on the emotional foundation of his award-winning short Frankie. The producing team includes Sundance U.S. Grand Jury Prize winner Daniel Tantalean (In the Summers, 2024), alongside Fiona Hardingham, John Trefry, and Ramfis Myrthil (Ricky, Sundance U.S. Dramatic Directing Award Winner, 2025). Director of Photography Sam Motamedis work has screened at Cannes (La Cinef) and TIFF 2025. In a blue-collar town ruled by a monstrously charismatic patriarch, a young queer couple's bid for freedom ignites a dangerous game of predator and prey.
