L'Amour du prochain

L'Amour du prochain marks the second feature film from director Siegrid Alnoy, whose debut Elle est des nôtres premiered at Cannes Critics' Week in 2003. The French-Maltese co-production stars Nicolas Maury, Céline Sallette, and Ladi Emeruwa in an intimate drama adapted from Arnon Grunberg's novel. Production is led by Xénia Maingot through Eaux Vives Productions, with co-production from Malta's Falkun Films and Arzella Films. Principal photography begins June 22, 2026, with a 20-day shoot split between Brest, France (15 days) and Malta (5 days). Cyrille Hubert serves as director of photography. The project has secured backing from France's Bretagne and Occitanie regions, Procirep/Angoa, and EU Media Development. New Story will handle French theatrical distribution.
