Project Summary
In 2007, a blogpost on Valleywag outed billionaire Peter Thiel as gay, sparking a meticulously plotted vendetta. Thiel, who valued his privacy, secretly funded Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against Gawker, using the case to destroy the media company. The strategy culminated in Gawker's bankruptcy and a $140 million judgment, revealing Thiel as the mastermind behind their downfall.
