Kid Hazard (Pericol in Romanian) is a children's feature film in pre-production, adapted from the award-winning 2017 novel by Raluca Poenaru. Director Răzvan Marinescu makes his feature debut with this project, produced by Irina Enea's Baking Films and Adriana Bumbeș's Ariadna Films. The project has been selected and awarded at multiple international development labs including Transilvania Pitch Stop, COCOLAB Cottbus, Cinekid Junior Co-Production Market in Amsterdam, and PLAY Lisabona, winning both the Villa Kult Development Award and the Connecting Cottbus CocoLab. A crowdfunding campaign launched in May 2026 aims to raise nearly 1 million EUR. The production has already secured theatrical distribution with Forum Film Romania and an exhibition agreement with Cinema City. Principal photography is scheduled for summer 2027 with 30 shooting days planned. The confirmed cast includes Medeea Marinescu, voice artist Irina-Margareta Nistor, and rapper Macanache, with scriptwriter Cristian Buje adapting the screenplay. Early sponsors include Danone, PPC, Orange România, Schneider, and Chainsaw Europe.
