Interference

Interference is a crime thriller in pre-production from writer-director Mel Rodriguez III, the filmmaker behind the indie dark comedy In Stereo. James Badge Dale, Elena Anaya, and Laurence Fishburne lead the cast, with Spencer Garrett also attached in a supporting role and executive producer capacity. The project is a Teté Studios production, with Rodriguez and producer Juan Aura at the helm. Noora Films is handling international sales and introduced the project to buyers at the 2026 Cannes Market, while CAA Media Finance represents U. S. rights. Set in Spain, the psychological thriller follows an American expat whose life spirals after an arrest exposes dangerous secrets from his past. Bryan Koss serves as director of photography, with Juan Pablo Rincon as casting director. Additional casting is currently underway, with a production start date yet to be announced.
