Influences include New Hollywood character studies, La Dolce Vita, Wanda, The Rain People, Monte Hellman, American Boy, 1970s hangout films, music-world dramas, and naturalistic DIY cinema. Los Angeles and beach-town locations. Small collaborative production. Some roles may involve night shoots, beach exteriors, apartment scenes, bar/party scenes, handheld filming, improvisation, and loose naturalistic dialogue.
