House of Crowns

House of Crowns is a romance series in early development at Amazon MGM Studios, adapting bestselling author Anna Todd's forthcoming novel of the same name. The project is being developed through Amazon MGM's UK division, with screenwriter Elinor Cook attached to adapt the book. The story unfolds at an exclusive boarding school in Switzerland, following a forbidden romance between two students from vastly different worlds. Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay of Ethea Entertainment are set to produce alongside Lena Roklin of Luber Roklin and Will Gould of Moonage Pictures, with Todd serving as executive producer. The series was acquired preemptively by Nicole Clemens, VP and Head of International Originals at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, and Gemma Brandler, Scripted Commissioning at Amazon Studios, continuing the studio's ongoing relationship with Todd following The Last Sunrise and other adaptations of her work.
