Hope In The Water
Project Summary
Hope In The Water returns to PBS for a second season, with production now underway on the three-episode documentary series. The project comes from Andrew Zimmern's Intuitive Content, with David E. Kelley serving as executive advisor. Michele Wallin is showrunner and Patrick McMahill directs, with Patrick Weiland executive producing. The series explores sustainable blue food solutions and aquaculture innovation, following the people working to feed over 8 billion people while protecting marine ecosystems. Shailene Woodley returns as host alongside Andrew Zimmern and Kristen Kish. The season is produced in association with nonprofit Fed By Blue, with funding from Builders Vision and the Walton Family Foundation. The new season is expected to premiere on PBS in 2027.
