Builders Vision

Builders Vision is an impact investing and philanthropy platform founded in 2018 by Lukas Walton, grandson of Walmart founder Sam Walton, and based in Chicago with an additional office in San Francisco. The organization manages over $15 billion across multiple asset classes and focuses on three sectors: food & agriculture, energy, and oceans, deploying capital through philanthropy, direct investment, and advocacy. Its structure includes the Builders Initiative Foundation (philanthropy arm) and Builders Asset Management, with the platform having distributed nearly $700 million in philanthropic capital, including $144 million to Chicago-based organizations. Builders Vision is widely regarded as a leading force in impact investing and systems-level environmental philanthropy.
