Project Summary
Set in 2026, Grade of Execution follows Antonio Enriquez, a previous Olympic figure skating champion returning to reclaim his title. As rising tensions between civilians and United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement escalate, Team USA launches their Olympic Ad campaign featuring Enriquez as one of their most prominent athletes. What was supposed to be the year he was remembered for challenging for a third consecutive Olympic Gold in Men's Single Figure Skating becomes something far more complicated — he finds himself in the crossfire of a national debate he never wanted to be part of, forced to decide what kind of statement he wants to make about being Latine in America. The production is based in New York, NY, with performances at Under St. Marks Theater.
