Good American Family (Season 2)
Project Summary
Good American Family returns to Hulu for a second season, pivoting to an anthology format after its successful first season about Natalia Grace. The new installment will dramatize the 1993 case of Lorena and John Bobbitt, exploring how a seemingly ordinary Virginia marriage became a sensational media circus. Creator and writer Katie Robbins returns alongside executive producer Ellen Pompeo, who starred in Season 1 but will serve in a behind-the-scenes capacity this time. The series is produced by 20th Television with Pompeo and Laura Holstein executive producing under their Calamity Jane banner, joined by Andrew Stearn and Sarah Sutherland. Lorena Bobbitt herself will serve as a consultant on the project. The greenlight marks the second Hulu collaboration for Robbins and Pompeo this summer, following their pilot order for dramedy Chicks. No production timeline has been announced yet.
