Bluefly

Bluefly is a sci-fi action thriller heading into production on Australia's Gold Coast later this year. Nimród Antal directs from a script by David Frigerio, William Eubank, and Carlyle Eubank, with Russell Crowe and Priyanka Chopra Jonas attached to star. The project is produced by Michael Jefferson for Polite Society, David Frigerio for Broken Open Pictures, Deborah Glover for G2 Dispatch, and Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier for Highland Film Group, with Vanessa Yao Guo also producing. Highland Film Group is handling worldwide rights and launching sales at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival market. Principal photography is set to begin in late 2026, with the production drawing on the Gold Coast's growing reputation as a hub for international features. Crowe previously worked with Frigerio and Eubank on Land of Bad, which also filmed in Queensland.
