Blank Canvas

Blank Canvas is a faith-based drama currently in development at Brookwell McNamara Entertainment. Director Sean McNamara is attached to write and direct the film, which adapts Marcy Gregg's 2022 memoir of the same name. The story follows Marcy Gregg, who at age 30 awoke from a coma caused by bacterial spinal meningitis to discover that 13 years of her life had vanished from her memory. She didn't recognize her husband or her three children, and ultimately found healing through her Christian faith and abstract painting. McNamara, known for directing faith-based and family films including Soul Surfer and Reagan, is developing the project through his production company founded with partner David Brookwell. The company has produced theatrical features and television content for major networks and streamers. Casting and production timelines have not yet been announced.
