Project Summary
Amandaland returns to BBC One and iPlayer for an hour-long Christmas special, with cameras now rolling on the 2026 festive episode. The Motherland spin-off features Lucy Punch reprising her role as Amanda, the self-appointed queen of South Harlesden, alongside returning cast members Samuel Anderson, Rochenda Samuel, Ekow Quartey, and Philippa Dunne. Daisy Haggard joins as guest star Millie, Amanda's old school friend whose unexpected appearance prompts the last-minute holiday chaos. Holly Walsh directs and writes alongside Laurence Rickard, with production by Merman. The special marks the series' second Christmas outing, following the 2025 episode that became the UK's most-watched comedy of the year with 7. 4 million viewers. Following this December broadcast, the show will return for its third commissioned series in 2027.
