Always, Roxanne

Always, Roxanne reunites Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody with longtime collaborators Nathan Kahane and producer Mason Novick. Cody has written the script for this character-driven comedy, which follows a determined high school senior's ill-advised college visit that leads to an unexpected connection. Kahane's True North—his newly launched production and finance company backed by Entertainment 360 and The Carlyle Group—is producing alongside Novick, extending a creative partnership that previously delivered Juno and Young Adult. The project does not yet have a director attached. The trio previously worked together during Kahane's tenure at Mandate Pictures, making this a homecoming of sorts for a team known for distinct, character-forward storytelling with commercial appeal.
