Rai Cinema

Rai Cinema S.p.A. is Italy's leading film production and domestic distribution company, wholly owned by RAI, the Italian national public broadcaster. Since its founding in 1999/2000, the company has invested nearly €1 billion in the co-production of over 900 films, supporting roughly 50–80 feature films per year. Through its domestic distribution division 01 Distribution and its international sales arm Rai Cinema International Distribution (launched February 2024), it is the dominant force in Italian independent and auteur cinema, both domestically and on the global stage.
