Elastica Films is a Spanish independent film production and distribution company founded in 2021 and headquartered in Valencia, Spain, by producer María Zamora and distributor Enrique Costa, both veterans of Madrid-based Avalon. The company focuses on arthouse and crossover films, operating on the philosophy of producing and distributing cinema they would love as an audience. As a producer, Elastica is best known for the Berlin Golden Bear–winning Alcarràs (2022); as a distributor, it has brought major international arthouse hits to Spanish theaters, including Anatomy of a Fall (€2.5M box office), The Substance (€3.6M), and Backrooms (€1.7M+). In June 2026, Spanish streaming platform Filmin acquired Elastica's distribution operations in a landmark deal, with the two companies remaining autonomous while collaborating on acquisitions.
