Amblin Entertainment

Amblin Entertainment is a film and television production company founded by Steven Spielberg (and originally co-founded with Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall in 1980–81), operating on the Universal Studios backlot in Universal City, CA. Led by Chairman Steven Spielberg and CEO Jeff Small, the company develops and produces films under the Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks Pictures banners, and operates Amblin Television, a longtime leader in quality programming. The current corporate entity was formally relaunched in December 2015 as Amblin Partners, backed by investment partners including Reliance Entertainment, Universal Pictures, and Alibaba Pictures, and has a multi-year production deal with Netflix alongside its long-standing distribution relationship with Universal Pictures.
