Joe Goldberg is a seemingly nice & unassuming bookstore clerk, the kind of guy who helps old ladies across the street. But Joe is not the shy & retiring wimp he seems. In fact, he lives largely in fantasy, & when he concocts a romantic fascination for pretty, lonely Beck, we get a glimpse into Joe's shocking double life, & learn that under his apparently timid exterior lurks a deranged agent of vengeance.
