Project Summary
Weight to Date is a new docu-format dating series greenlit by Netflix, currently in the casting phase. The unscripted show will follow around ten to twelve singles who have undergone significant weight loss and are re-entering the dating world. Produced by The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), the series marks the first sale for co-CEOs Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman since their recent exit from Sony Pictures Television, with Jeanne Begley joining as executive producer. The project is described as a docu-format similar to Love on the Spectrum or Indian Matchmaking, focusing on how participants navigate changes in identity and approach to relationships after major body transformations. Casting is actively underway for U. S. residents over 18 who are ready to date after weight loss. No production timeline or release date has been announced.
