Untitled Yassmin Pucci Pahlavi Docuseries

Italian director and producer Michela Scolari is currently filming an untitled documentary series on Yassmin Pucci Pahlavi, granddaughter of the last Shah of Iran and cousin to Iran's exiled crown prince Reza Pahlavi. The series has begun production, with filming at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival capturing a reunion between Yassmin and her cousin Cyrus Pahlavi. Based on Yassmin's book Non Chiamatemi Principessa (Don't Call Me Princess), the series follows her quest for identity as she uncovers family secrets tied to the Pahlavi royal dynasty. The project is being co-produced by Scolari in partnership with CarmOne Productions in Zurich and American Troubadours. Writer Karin Tanabe has joined the team to develop a companion fiction book. The series is conceived as a multilayered IP spanning documentary, book, and scripted formats, with production currently underway in France.
