Project Summary
Third Shift (Tretasmena) is Ana Opačić's debut feature film, now in post-production following a 22-day shoot in North Macedonia's Prespa region. The drama, penned by Opačić and co-writer Slobodan Trajkoski, follows an aging music professor who travels to his picturesque childhood hometown on Lake Prespa for rehabilitation after a nervous breakdown, accompanied by his wife Tatjana. The arrival of his estranged daughter Maša disrupts the fragile balance between the characters. The project is produced by Slobodan Trajkoski through Pik Produkcija and Ana Opačić through Charade Film, with co-producers in Croatia (Wolfgang & Dolly), Montenegro (KA Productions), and Poland (Editorium). British cinematographer John Craine serves as executive producer and director of photography. The cast includes Senko Velinov, Iskra Veterova, Jelena Jovanova, and Draško Zidar. Principal photography wrapped September 21, 2026, with producers planning an international festival launch following post-production.
