The World Premiere of The Old Ladies Bar by Natasha Caroline Lowery Rivers is a co-production between The Players Guild of Leonia and Kaleidoscope Ensemble. Directed by TS Murphy, the production takes place weekends from September 18–27, 2026. Founded in 1919, the Players Guild of Leonia is a nonprofit, resident acting company at the Civil War Drill Hall Theater (built in 1859). PGL is New Jersey's oldest continuing community theater group (since 1919), just five minutes from the George Washington Bridge and a short bus ride from Manhattan. The play takes place over a hot and hazy weekend in which old friends gather over memories, unresolved conflicts, liquor, laughter, and a whole lot of love.
