Project Summary
The Game Room is a half-hour workplace comedy in development at NBC from executive producers Seth Meyers and Michael Shoemaker through their production banner Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions. Michael Colton and John Aboud, who created the ABC comedy Home Economics, are attached to write, co-showrun, and executive produce the project. Jason Carden will also serve as executive producer. Universal Studio Group, where Sethmaker Shoemeyers has an overall deal, is the studio. The premise remains under wraps at this stage. Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions previously produced Late Night with Seth Meyers, A. P. Bio, The Amber Ruffin Show, and other comedy projects since its 2017 founding.
